Driven by an ambitious vision to redefine urban development, sustainability and architecture, Saudi Arabia is undergoing significant changes to revamp its built environment. As the Kingdom strives to position itself as a global leader in modern architecture and design, platforms facilitating knowledge exchange and collaboration become essential.

The 13th edition of Big 5 Construct Saudi introduced its first-ever two-week format, reflecting the industry’s growing scale and demand built from the increasing opportunities within ongoing and upcoming multi-billion-dollar mega and giga projects. While the first week (15 – 18 February) focused on core construction sectors, the second week (24 – 27 February) was dedicated to highlighting excellence in architecture and the finishing touches through specialized co-located events, including Windows, Doors & Facades Saudi Arabia, Marble & Stone Saudi Arabia, Saudi FM & Clean, Urban Design & Landscape Saudi Arabia and Saudi Hospital Design & Build.

Saudi Arabia’s construction boom focuses on creating spaces that align with the country’s cultural identity, sustainability goals and evolving consumer preferences.  As the Kingdom continues to bring changes under Vision 2030, the demand for high-quality finishing, innovative architectural solutions and next-generation materials has surged. From smart façades to sustainable interiors, architecture is no longer an afterthought. It is integral to the Kingdom’s vision for modern living.

By dedicating an entire week to architecture and finishing, Big 5 Construct Saudi ensured that industry professionals, from contractors and developers to architects and designers, could explore innovations that enhance aesthetics and functionality of the built environment. The exhibition featured from across the region, including National Paints, Ahram Security Group, Airzone, Al Dammam Development, Art Glass Company, Aspen Interior Solutions and Beeah Planner Architects and Engineers, among other prominent names, showcasing the latest innovations and advancements in marble and stone, flooring, lighting, paints and high-end finishing solutions.
