This massive project is a game-changer for Riyadh, designed to ease congestion and transform the way we move around the city.

The Riyadh Metro is part of the larger King Abdulaziz Project for Riyadh Public Transport, which also includes a vast bus network with 80 routes and 2,860 stops. The plan is to start with 1.2 million daily passengers and gradually scale up to an impressive 3.6 million. And with Saudi Arabia is bidding to host the FIFA World Cup in 2034, the metro is expected to become the go-to transportation choice for both locals and visitors, making travel in Riyadh a breeze.
This $22.5 billion investment in the city’s infrastructure isn’t just about getting from point A to B; it’s about making daily life in Riyadh easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable. The metro is set to be the backbone of Riyadh's public transport, and it’s almost here—get ready for a smoother ride!
